DESIGN TOGETHER WITH BIM'25

The importance of digitalization in the fields of architecture and engineering is increasing rapidly, and one of the most powerful tools driving this transformation is Building Information Modeling (BIM). As ALAN Mimarlık, we strive to keep up with the latest developments in the industry and share our experiences. This year, we once again participated in the Design Together with BIM event, organized by İTÜ Engineering Preparation Club.

At the event, Gözde Kanar Kaya and İlayda Döyen from our team took the stage with their presentation titled "Understanding BIM in Project Processes". In their presentation, they explored the eight key topics discussed in Vishal Singh's paper "Developing BIM Thinking", offering insights into the BIM concept. Additionally, they shared real-world examples from our own project workflows, presenting our perspective on BIM and our experiences in this field. Through this presentation, we collectively gained a clearer understanding of how BIM contributes to design and implementation processes.

BIM Summit 2025 was an unmissable event for those looking to better understand this technology, connect with industry professionals, and gain fresh perspectives on the future of construction. Moreover, having the opportunity to engage with young professionals entering the field, share knowledge, answer their questions, and convey our experiences was an exciting and rewarding experience for us.
